Hello! My name is Jonar Calanog. I am an artist and designer born and raised in Yonkers, NY. Art has been my favorite thing to do in my life since I was very little, and Design became something that felt passionate for me as well. I like to create things, and my work draws inspiration from many aspects in my life. As an artist and designer, I am super grateful that I am able to wake up everyday getting to know that I can create anything that fulfills my potential.

I graduated in Spring of 2025 receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design at Lehman College. Throughout my time in Lehman, I explored taking some Design courses like Accessibility Design, UI/UX Design, Computer Modeling and even took Animation courses. I had the opportunity to showcase my work in the 2025 Student Thesis Exhibition at the Lehman College Art Gallery. My thesis project is titled "JotRoom", an app that helps students store, share, and study notes while staying connected with classmates.
Earned my Associates in Science degree in late 2022, where I specialized in Art and Design. My drawing, painting, and even design skills have enhanced better after taking 2 drawing courses, 1 painting course, and 3 design courses. I had my work displayed twice at Juried Student Exhibition. In Spring 2021, I presented my "Three Bears" charcoal drawing. In Spring 2022, I presented my digital art piece "Seeing Stars".
